I'm considering Not Prime Time Ficathon. It's like Yuletide, in that it's multifandom, but for those fandoms too big for YT but not megafandoms with a ton of stories already. Like BSG and TSCC - too big for YT but with fewer than 20K stories. Sadly I can't request my new pet Gendry/Dany ship since neither of them are nominated characters and I didn't ship until last week to nominate them myself, but ASoIF/GoT are also in there.

About TeeVEE last night --

I think it helped a bit to have watched last week's and yesterday's on the same day. It gave the whole thing a really fast pace and some more urgency.

I thought one of the most effective scenes was when Alaric went and outed Caroline and Tyler at the council meeting -- that was completely unexpected and awesome.

While I'm glad to get Klaus moved off screen, Morgan did a really fabulous job especially in the final scene. The look between Klaus and Stefan as Stefan finally was able to take his vengeance and Klaus just looked so ... lost, was great.

That was even worse in some ways than I had thought - she didn't get entangled in anything criminal or spy like. It was something so sadly common. And we know her number did come up before. OUCH MY HEART.

I am frankly amazed that I don't think John did kill Peter -- they were careful to say thered been no body, despite a lot of blood, and the implication of the other prisoners in that foreign prisoner I think imply Peter was there. (and really, John had no reason to take the body if he'd killed Peter -- it's not as if he cleaned up the scene and he obviously didn't give a shit about getting caught because his life was ruined anyway). But then I was thinking John-back-then wouldn't have known Jessica didn't die in the car accident -- he just knew that Peter had been controlling and Jessica had been afraid of him, but I don't think he could've been sure it wasn't an accident since he didn't seem to be in any state to do the investigating that Carter did.

But dude, to walk into the US Marshals office and start laying the smackdown? WHEN THE FBI AND CIA ARE ALREADY ON YOUR ASS? And you know they have video of that. "particular sensitivities" indeed.

gotta run. may add more later if I think of some.

the foreign prison also makes me think that the guy who was stalked by whats-her-face earlier in the season ended up there, too (since the episode ended with John sitting across the table from him with a gun)

I like this idea!

It makes sense now! I am glad that this open question-thing has been at least hinted to have an answer (as much as a Nolan brother and JJ Abrams eveer actually answer questions, which means we're going to have a billionty MORE questions next week.

Also, the Person of Interest was the chick from Count of Monte Cristo, yes? I got a chuckle out of her and Jim working together again.

I am torn and sad that she didn't fake her death (which would have been awesome). BUT BUT. I love that John actually didn't kill people. I approve (and so does Carter; and I am sort of ridiculously amused that he made certain she would KNOW he hadn't killed anyone).

AND I LOVE STRIPES' IDEA. Erm, about the one dude. Yes.

I think it would be nice for John if she had faked her death and I wouldn't be averse to an AU where that happened, but I think for the show it's better that she's actually dead. To turn around and go "ha, lol, just kidding, she's not dead"- (and the week after they pull that for Stanton no less) would be a bit much. Besides, the very mundane nature of her death is the more affecting part of it, at least for me - it wasn't that his world reached out and took her, it was just -- shit happens to good people and sometimes there's nothing you can do.

I was so glad Carter kept the photo and I hope she gives it to him soon. That could be a great moment between them, especially now that Carter knows for sure he's not really as ruthless as his reputation would make him out to be.
