THE OFFICE (of all things!) is being EPIC in FMM. It's staying neck and neck, Jim and Kelly. And Kirk and Bones (behind Spock, but still, tied.)
I'm glad Sue isn't trampling everyone in Glee this year!

Was Pacey always that beloved in Dawson's Creek, or is he getting a bump because of Fringe?

and... some categories have WAY TOO MANY characters listed. scroll,scroll...

But anyway, as it stands right now thirty minutes ago yesterday ...

seeding -- votes - Character - Show

1. 1041 Dana X-Files
2. 852 Olivia Fringe
3. 770 Aeryn Farscape
4. 717 Merlin
5. 713 Dean (SPN)
6. 639 Kara (BSG)
7. 597 Mal R. (Firefly)
8. 596 Eric (True Blood)
9. 578 Buffy
10. 554 Nathan Misfits
11. 547 Annie (BH)
12. 534 Chuck
13. 474 Chloe (Smallville)
14. 424 Eleven
15. 389 Spock
16. 302 Sam Carter

So, if those seedings remain constant, round one matchups would look something like this:

Dana Scully v Sam Carter (Sam. ouch)
Eric v Buffy (*snicker* that's the easiest campaign EVER)
Dean v Chuck
Merlin v Chloe
Kara v Annie
Aeryn v Eleven
Mal v Nathan
Olivia V Spock

(Note this doesn't correct for overall fandom size, which I don't know if the mod does or not in the seeding. i.e. Aeryn v Eleven matchup -- she has twice the votes so I seeded her higher, but DW has double the total votes cast.)

Yes. Everybody always loved Pacey. People only like Peter at all because of who plays him. Not lying. That's the only reason I still like him at this point.

I thought that for Round 1 they just paired up the fandoms alphabetically in pairs as they are now, i.e. Supernatural v. Stargate, that's how they did it last year, when Sam Carter lost to Dean Winchester and if that happens again I'll be bummed because now I know and love her.

No, it's seeded. That particular match happened to be in order, but the next one was Dollhouse/X-Files which is how Scully beat Dean in Round 2. I don't think it's entirely by votes in the prelims, but that's a part of it. It's definitely not straight alphabtical by either character or fandom.

I loved Pacey to bits back then. :P

I have no idea about Pacey, but I'm giggling about the potential Olivia/Spock match-up, even if it likely spells doom for poor Olivia. (I haven't checked to see if that's right today.)

Definitely want to see Eric vs. Buffy though. :D
