A non porn entry? I think the apocalypse is NIGH.

So, the "I Write Like" meme? I've done it several times, with different passages. I've gotten so far: Dan Brown, Stephen King, Douglas Adams, Lovecraft, Chuck Palahniuk, James Joyce, and Vladimir Nobokov. Varied much? And yet, despite the apparent lack of validity (my style has hardly changed in fifteen years of fanfic, unless I'm deliberately changing it), I'm pleased that my long Tolkien fic comes back as sounding like Tolkien. *g* I also put about half of "This is not an exit" in, curious to see what that one would come back as, since that's another stylistic copy -- I'm sure Bret Easton Ellis would be glad to know he writes like James Joyce. lol.

We also experimented with "Covert Affairs", which is exactly what it looks like: Alias Lite. But it was cute and fun - we'll keep watching for now. It's a little self-conscious right now, but hopefully that's only Pilot-itis and things will smooth out. Kari Matchett is in it, as one of Annie's bosses, and I like her. Clearly there needs to be future Covert Affairs/Facing Kate crossovers, where Joan and Justin get together, because we already know how pretty it is! (the thought of this made me put in a Meteor Storm prompt for Porn Battle by the way.) MrLiz was amused by the extremely terrible Russian. *g*

"White Collar" also came back, which is even more disposable, but nice to see Neal and Peter be the ones getting played for once. I don't know if I can watch it and Psych, since they're basically the same show (Neal is prettier, but Psych embraces their crack with open arms and makes out with it) But I'm still going to watch Psych at least this week in the so-far-vain hope that they will tease "Facing Kate".

Hee! That, my friend, is pure awesomeness.

It was my clever use of words like "Mordor". and Ringwraiths. :) heh. No, I don't know what this thing is keying on, though at least that result tells me it's not TOTALLY random.

Bwah. That's pretty awesome. My own faux-Tolkien Mary Sue came back as Asimov, so.

As Asimov? lol. Was your Mary Sue a ROBOT? *snicker*
