I was doing okay with Jo. It was sad, but when Ellen started to cry...

because, yes. I would totally do that, if my only child was dying and volunteering to throw herself on a grenade. I Could not have left, not for anything.

Heart-breaking. Heart-breaking and true.

And I'm busy even now thinking that maybe Lucifer saved them for some nefarious purpose, maybe God whisked them out of the way, maybe... I hope so.

Either way, Samantha Ferris, you are fabulous and you made me cry.

That said, Bobby needs to die by the end of the season.

maybe God whisked them out of the way

I don't know how many times I said something similar while I was watching. If He could do it for Dean and Cas... *ohpleaseohpleaseohplease*

yeah, it's not like others don't have a get-out-of-jail free card.... and I do wonder, with the boys' angel-proof sigils out of the way, whether SOMEONE angelic/godlike might have saved them. maybe? *whimper*

Clearly Castiel didn't - he got free too late. But I'll even take Lucifer resurrecting them evil and the boys having to fight them with some hope they could come back...

I was hoping the two characters who died would be Bobby and Ellen. That at least makes dramatic sense, killing off the older generation so that the young ones are left on their own. I am not happy.

I think death is gonna have to GO to Bobby - he doesn't go with the Winchesters anymore, so it would've been harder to kill him in this one. Someone/Something is going to have to seek him out, or draw him out,l for him to be in real danger.

But I do think he's gonna get it. If either of the boys are truly gonna be tempted to put on the angel condom, it's going to have to be over Bobby. And as much as I love Bobby, both the writers and the boys are depending on him too much, so it makes sense to kick it away for the big season finale dust up.
