It's been super windy yesterday and today on the backside of the Last! Storm! of the Season! (watching local t.v. you'd think it was day two of armageddon, the way the news treats weather). I went out to tell someone not to park under my tree earlier, because I worry branches might come off and fall on their car. We lost two smallish branches overnight, and with that tree, a bigger one is always possible. It's a eucalyptus, and it seems to like to prune itself.

The rest of the weekend was busy doing family stuff - kidlet had Friday off and it was pretty much nonstop after that, with a trip to the museum and shopping and visiting friends and the like. Nothing terribly unusual, but busier than normal. We ate out Sat night, and kiddo did his ancestors proud with his ability to slurp noodles from a bowl about as big as his head.

Busy somehow didn't stop me from coming up with YET ANOTHER plotbunny. Does my brain not see the piles of unfinished fic? *cries*

This new idea doesn't have anything to do with Tricia Helfer going to be a butt-kicking superspy on Chuck next week! How did I not know of this before? looks fun.

Not directly related to your post, but remember a while back when you say kidlet was asking the origins of the universe?

It happened this morning. Mine was poised over his bowl of yogurt and granola and out of the blue he asks, "Did the planets and stars make themselves?"

LOL! Yep, that sounds like what we got. Y'know what's the funniest thing about kidlet? He hasn't watched THomas in two-plus years, because he was afraid of the crashes. Still won't even look at the show if we happen to flip past it. And yet? he LOVES watching shows about disasters like the Hindenberg, or how the sun will eventually explode and destroy the Earth. I ... don't get it. *shakes head*

Care to share the plotbunnies?

considering they're now BOTH over 3000 words, they're a bit more than bunnies now. *head desk*
