Random fannish stuff
First, I have a pinch-hit for sg_rarepairings. I am possibly insane. I did 700 words this afternoon and it goes totally the wrong way. Thus, it goes to the trash.

Second. I did the happy-dance of joy as I figured out that a particular SG-1 canon event fits even more neatly in my story continuity than I had thought. It provides more and stronger motivation for an early conflict, and that is always, always awesome. So, yay, me! *g*

Next: So I'm watching "Heroes" and they had an ad for the movie of "Bridge to Terabithia." And they're marketing it as this cute kids fantasy movie.

This was the first book that made me CRY, PEOPLE! I remember to this day -- saddest book EVER!

And now for Heroes --

SPOILERS FOR GODSEND

OMG, so much fun with this episode! It makes me want to use exclamation points a lot! (see, I started already)

Christopher Eccleston, doing his best James Cameron impression! (ok, not realy, but that's what he reminded me of) I look forward to his bigger part next week.

Hiro steals a fake sword! "I have to give it back!" hee!

Claire and Zack! awww... you go, girl! Get your friend back! And that scene with The Haitian was small but vital. He can't restore the memories he takes. Interesting. (maybe he doesn't know how?)

Bennet goes to see Suresh. Creepy! Suresh was right to throw him out at this time, but I'm sure that card's coming into play later.

Peter wakes up! Goes ballistic!
And Nathan finally catches a clue!

let's see, the only blah parts: Niki. Which is unfortunate because I do like Ali Larter's performance, but her story is still playing out on the sidelines and it's boring as hell. We know she's hooked in to Linderman, Kring, just cut to the chase already.

Matt. "Choose a number between one and a million". Ok, that made me laugh, but the rest was... whatever. don't care.

Oh, lastly, I should mention, I take my son to that museum all the time. It is, um, nowhere near New York and is sadly lacking in samurai displays in real life. *g*

And in conclusion, I just heard there's a documentary at Sundance about men having sex with horses.

There's nothing left to say after that, is there?

Hiro is awesome. yes. I love how he just left Ando stuck there in front of the case, with the alarm ringing. Poor Ando - it's tough to be a sidekick. And then when Hiro unsheathed the sword, CLASSIC! But boy, talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy: Hiro sees the picture, is convinced its what he needs, and now it IS what he needs.

And the Trek geek in me can't wait for George Takei to play his dad next week! That's so freakin' cool.
